Very Quick Update

I know it has been a really long time since I have posted anything of substance on this site. There are many excuses as to why so let me fill you in... yucky weather, feeling blue/down, crashed laptop, yucky & extremely slow desktop computer, half-term break, etc. I promise to blog about the exciting stuff, but for now - wahoo, I have a new laptop. It arrived about an hour ago, I have it most of the way setup, and now I can reconnect with the world! FINALLY!

It is really snowing

Last night I was up most of the night so I was able to watch the accumulation of snow. I couldn't believe it; we actually have between 4 & 6 inches of snow...and it's still snowing. But the best part of all, they are rationing the salt because they have almost run out. The girls were up & outside by 7am playing in the snow. The dogs loved it too.

After an hour or so, Sophie came inside because she was soaked to the bone. The snow is a wet snow & of course they are rolling around in it. I bundled her up infront of the fire with a cup of hot chocolate and marshmellows. Brittney & Emily headed off to the park for some sledding (of course over here they call it sledging).
